«We absolutely loved this darling little cabin in the woods. It was so cozy and in a wonderful, peaceful location. Close to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods and Crescent city. Not too far from Prairie Creek Redwoods either, if you like exploring the coast and various trails. We can’t wait to come back to visit.»

«Just a couple of suggestions... it was challenging to make a simple pasta dinner as there wasn't a colander and no oven mitts that I could find. Not very many dishes, including no wine glasses that I could find. The bathroom door unlatches and opens from the draft of the front door being opened.»

«This VRBO is a wonderful alternative to typical accommodations in Brookings. Private river access on the peaceful Chetco River. A sweet cottage with a full, well appointed kitchen. You can prepare your own meals or take a 10 minute drive into town to a variety of restaurants and ocean beaches. Dog friendly. Very comfortable accommodations. Hostess is delightful. Quiet location. We slept well.»

«As long as you set your expectations to truly camping in a tree house you won't be let down! The directions were so helpful, we had a bit of confusion about where to park, and it is a cold water only place. But it was such a treat to camp in a tree house, to take the dirt roads and truly be off the grid, and the cold water added to the experience. We were charmed by the mosaics all over the farm, and my children still talk about the sweet dogs that stuck by our sides the whole time. We will ...

Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a dream, especially with the added bonus of having it nearly all to ourselves. Plus, their thoughtful provision of a hose outside made cleaning up our two furry friends a breeze after their sandy romps. «We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts. «This property was perfect. It was such a cute cottage with a wonderful back yard. My dogs are small so one of them did slip out of the yard. We made some adjustments & it didn't happen again. We never walked to the beach but it was a short drive. I would definitely stay here again. And I'm recommending this cottage to my friends!»

«This rental did not disappoint. Everything was as described. Our daughter got married in the Redwoods and we needed a place that we could host a small reception. This property seemed way bigger than the square footage listed. The backyard and patio area were perfect for our small gathering. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils and cookware. «Aneka couldn’t be a better host. The loft had one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, which came with farm fresh eggs! The hens that laid them were right outside the window. We brought our pups who enjoyed the yard when the chickens were in their coop. The house is minutes away from the beach and redwoods. We very much enjoyed our stay, it was quite relaxing!»
