The accommodation
Folly Ocean Vista offers you the oceanfront experience in grand luxury. Located right across the street from the beach near the West 5th Street access, you are steps away from having your toes in the sand, and less than a 10 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants Folly has to offer. This custom built 4 bedroom home offers open common areas with 10 foot ceilings. And the 2nd floor living room - Ocean view kitchen gives you the sun all day. You will enjoy the open kitchen island large enough for ANY food preparation. Chef grade stainless steel appliances and farm sink put you in the center of your own reality TV chef show. Off the kitchen is an outdoor natural gas grill if you want a smokier finish for your meats and veggies. Enjoy the spoils from your work stool on the island or serve it at the 12 foot wooden farm table, fantastic for family meals or games. Or it can serve as a meeting room near the beach retreat your team might need. Dive into the living room through what feels like a ballroom and enjoy comfy couches, cozy chairs, and a 60" TV to watch the big games or your favorite shows. A gas fireplace can set the perfect ambiance on the occasional chilly night at a switch. Each of these spaces backs onto the front deck with sunny views of the Atlantic above and between the oceanfront lots.
The bright entry staircase sets the modern open tone as you ascend to the main floor, and an elevator adds to the ease of access throughout the home. You have a full-size washer and dryer in a LAUNDRY ROOM (not a closet) with plenty of hanging and storage space to keep your entire crew clean. Plus, the 2-zone HVAC lets you dial in comfort in any space. Each bedroom has its own tile and glass-enclosed ensuite bathroom.
The master bed is located on the first floor and has its own sun terrace and a swing bed perfect for naps in the sun. Experience your best sleep in the king size bed which is adjustable on both sides for maximum comfort. The master bath awaits you for your own spa treatment with en suite bathroom. Each of the 3 other bedrooms are well appointed with queen size beds. All beds have comfortable mattresses, inflatable pillows and 5 star linens.
Outside the backyard, the greenery and oak canopy create a tranquil oasis like no other on Folly, and is fully fenced for privacy and security. An outdoor shower under the house and beach chairs ready to use, you won't miss coming and going to the beach. Under the house, there is SHARED covered parking for 4 cars. And... just steps from this large home is a real live PLAYGROUND. Yes, this is one of two children's playgrounds on Folly Beach (corner of W 5th and W Cooper) with plenty of climbing and swing sets that can provide another theater of operations outside the beach for your little monsters to run away.

Now for the legal stuff: The unit is located in a quiet residential section of Folly Beach and we do not allow parties or events. Folly has strict noise rules and really cracks down with fines. So if you want a house party, do not book here. The residential neighborhood QUIET HOURS are from 10pm to 9am with no loud voices or amplified music inside or out. Folly Ocean Vista is strictly NON-SMOKING and allows a maximum of 8 people with 6 off-street parking spaces. NO PETS ALLOWED. We require all travelers to sign our 2-page South Carolina Short Term Rental Agreement, which includes all house and Folly Beach rules. We highly recommend travelers purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE which can protect you from last minute travel changes due to health, family, weather, or employment issues...…I hope to see you here soon!
