Amazing sunset AND lighthouse views from the back dock! Casa De La Luz (the house of light) offers the "best of both worlds"! The beach and ocean across the street, while the large backyard offers refreshing, unobstructed marsh and river views from the screened in back porch. This 3-bedroom, 2 full bath, beach house can sleep up to 8 guests.

You are only steps away from premier beach access - 2 houses down and across the street is the public beach entrance. Driving up you will be greeted by ample parking space for up to four vehicles surrounded by palm trees. The porch swing/bed with overhead timer-controlled lights is a wonderful spot for relaxing. Front screened porch has 6 chairs (and more provided in storage under the home). It is the perfect spot for coffee/tea & warming up with the morning sun, the sound of waves in the distance.

COZY FLOORPLAN
Stepping into this coastal home you will find an updated kitchen with a gas stove and other high-end appliances, along with bar seating and a breakfast nook. Kitchen is fully stocked, including grilling utensils and plenty of serving dishes. Keurig and traditional coffee makers (filters provided) are available. For convenience and easy beach packing there is an additional refrigerator and freezer under the house in the laundry room area.

The kitchen opens out to the living room area, where there is a sleeper sofa, recliner, loveseat & a large TV with streaming. Enjoy direct access to the front screened porch via sliding glass doors. The living room has a Bluetooth speaker/record player that allows you to connect to it from your device or play some records that are provided.

Head down the hall to find 3 private bedrooms. Use the 2 full bathrooms and the outdoor shower to easily get your entire group ready for a night out in Folly or Charleston, or to wind down from a fun day spent on the beach. The bedroom at the back of the home is set up with a standing-height table & mirror that provides a secondary area outside of a bathroom to get ready. The bedroom, with bunk beds, has a full-size bed on the bottom & twin-size bed above. The TV in the bunkroom allows guests to enjoy a secondary show or movie apart from the main living room. The second and third bedrooms both have queen-size beds and closets for hanging clothes. The primary bedroom has direct access to the screened porch at the back of the house.

GRAND OUTDOOR SPACE
Enjoy just as much outdoor living space as indoors. Lounge and dine on the large screened-in porch overlooking the river and marsh, accessed via the primary bedroom or the exterior wraparound porch. The spacious backyard is your private retreat, featuring a fire pit for evening gatherings and a small dock on the marsh. A huge backyard provides ample space for your kids and pet to run around (additional pet fee applies). The dock is the perfect spot to launch a paddleboard or try fishing at high tide. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the convenient, enclosed outdoor shower. Legendary Morris Island Lighthouse can be seen from the backyard or from the shore, less than 1 mile away.

Home is pet-friendly for up to 1 dog with paid fee of $150 + tax. If you would like to bring a second pet, please send us a message for approval.

Security: For your safety and security, please be aware that there is an active security camera located at the front of the home.
No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home, regardless of sleeping or visiting - 8 guests in total.
Noise ordinance is in effect for the whole island 24/7.
