Coastal Soul is a completely renovated condo on the Bon Secour River in the gated Galley community with a private community pool located in Foley and only 6 miles from Gulf Shores Beach, you truly get the best of both worlds the Alabama Coast has to offer. Aquila Seafood Market (home of the Royal Red Shrimp) is located a few miles away in Bon Secour. Go get your fresh catch right off the boat for your shrimp boil. Whether its the events in Foley, such as the Gulf Coast Balloon Festival, Tournaments at the Foley Event Center or The Foley Sportsplex or the OWA Amusement Park you are close to all the action! You can visit the brand new Tropic Falls Waterpark next to OWA or spend the day shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall ! If it’s a day at the beach you want, it’s a short drive to Gulf Shores Beach, Fort Morgan Beach or Orange Beach or maybe a fun visit to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. Gulf Coast State Park Pier is a short drive Check out all of the concerts and events at The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach. There are 10 + golf courses within a few miles drive or you can spend a lazy day on the river in a kayak , fishing off your deck or watching the wildlife such as dolphins, pelicans, manatee and blue heron and much more. This rental is quickly becoming a favorite for photographers to get beautiful wildlife shots. Our favorite part of the condo is relaxing on the outdoor bed swing or in front of the TV on the spacious sectional. A relaxing meal at The Galley on the River onsite restaurant is convenient and so tasty. This condo has so much to offer including flat screen smart tv's inside and out. A grill for cooking out and a fully equipped kitchen for a family. Sleeps 5 or more comfortably. There are two covered parking spaces in the carport under the condo as well as a Tesla Charger. For security purposes only, there are two Poyasilon Solar Security cameras on the property. One is located under the carport and shows a range of the driveway, carport, and side dock areas. The second camera is located at the top of the stairs and is aimed at the door but has a range of the stairs over to the pool area and persons who enter or exit the door.

Stay on the river

We loved our stay on the river, it was so quiet and secluded and just a short drive to the beach. My son loved being able to fish from the dock! So peaceful!

Great stay

We booked this house for a weekend stay and it was perfect. Location was great, it's just a short drive from the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed watching the ducks and turtles. The house was spotless and well-stocked. The host was responsive and helpful. We will return for a future stay.

Flying fish and all!

WOW! Our daughter was getting married 5 minutes away at Our Lady of Bon Secour with the reception being held right down the street at Swift Coles Historic Home. I first just googled something close. The pictures looked great so I booked for ease and convenience. Imagine my surprise when I got exactly what the pictures showed and so much more. The house was immaculate. It was well decorated, clean and everything seemed new. We so enjoyed using the pool right out of front door. We relaxed on the front deck and were entertained by the flying fish, ducks, geese, and had a sneak peek of an alligator. We had some special requests since we were getting in town for the wedding and the management made it happen. We ate at the attached restaurant The Galley and it was magnificent. Everything was easy and relaxing. We will be back!!!!

I highly recommend! Super cute little bungalow! It is a nice quiet area. Very clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Just a short drive to all shopping, attractions and beaches! Very relaxing place to stay!

Family vacation

We were in town for our daughter’s dance nationals competition and found this beautiful place. Everything was exactly the way it was listed online. The beach was a short distance away. All of the amenities were so helpful especially the outside water house and shower. We loved the fully stocked kitchen so we could cook dinners to save from eating out every night. The host was very responsive and the neighbors were kind and it was just an overall great experience. We would definitely book this house again if we ever came back this way. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

It was MAGICAL!!!

The cabin was immaculate! The downstairs patio and deck were so cozy and unique. Being on the water and seeing all the wildlife (nest of pelicans across the river was amazing, families of ducks, fish etc.) The unit was very well furnished and equipped. We definitely overpacked! It was close enough to the strip and beach that it was no problem getting around to do all of the things we wanted to do in a timely manner with the short stay we had. We will definitely book again and recommend to anyone!!! We never had to reach out to the host because everything was PERFECT! We cant sing enough praise about this little slice of heaven!!!

Family vacation

Perfect Retreat

We enjoyed the nature that surrounded us and the beautiful views. The homes lay out was well planned, it felt like a vacation home and homey all at the same time. We wanted a different experience in Foley and we got it here. We still went to the beach just a short drive away, but enjoyed the serene atmosphere nestled away for us to enjoy! We will visit again hopefully sooner than later

Weekend get away

This is a great location, close enough to Foley attractions, but just far enough to feel secluded. Very clean and quiet. We booked the location for my daughter's soccer tournament instead of staying at the team hotel and could not have asked for a better location. We will be staying here again. Great access to Mobile Bay by boat and beautiful scenery along the way.

Wedding at Swift Cole's house

Loved it. It was our first time with VRBO so maybe a few things are standard but for the property management, consider providing more than 1 roll of toilet paper for a 2 night stay, family of 3. Also some dish soap would be helpful - we had to use hand soap to clean the kitchen counters and nonstick pans because I assume they shouldn't go in the dishwasher. The ceiling fans and furniture could use a serious dusting but the property was otherwise very clean and we enjoyed our short stay! Thank you!

Stay on Stilts

We had an enjoyable 1-week stay. 80 YO couple. Beds were good; place was well-equipped; quiet and peaceful despite being close to stores and AL-59. Would use it again. Nice change from condos on the beach. Saw lots of birds but only saw dolphins once.

Beautiful View and easy pool access

We had a great stay. The accomodations were great and the location was perfect. Our girls loved the pool right outside the door, the local wildlife, and hanging bed. The only improvements I would recommend are since you don't want any clothes or towels hung outside, you really need hooks to hang things. That got frustrating since we spent both days at the beach. Thanks for the accomodations and great vacation!

Beautiful river views

Pack your bags and come sit for a bit on the beautiful dock or front porch. The cottage is tastefully decorated and updated. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking on the new appliances. The beds are very comfortable. Water pressure is awesome, and the water is hot. Quiet neighborhood with kind neighbors. The community pool was well maintained. Our kids loved checking on the water every morning and evening, and I enjoyed the porch sitting watching the birds during the day and bats at night. Great communication with owner. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
