Decent location, but make sure you order a room with balcony facing the backyard, unless youll have the tramline right outside.

Go there to relax
Fresh modern hotel with very nice rooms. We booked massages in the SPA and would really recommend doing the same. Good service, the staff was very helpful. The area around the hotel is a short walk from the more beautiful and historic streets and places.

Hotellet var rent og fint. Vi fikk rom i 5. etg med balkong og fin utsikt. Servicen var bra, men vi ble veldig skuffet over frokosten. Dårlig utvalg og mangelfull.

Dear Sir, thank you you your nice review and for appreciating our hotel, location, view, etc I’m apologize you didn’t like our breakfast, it would be important to understand which product should be add to our buffet. Now we offer a full choise of own production cakes, fresh pan cake with acero juice, different kind of bread, jam, butter, fresh fruit juice, fresh salads, ricotta cheese, tuscan salami, ham, yogurt, fruit salads, eggs, bacon, sausage, expresso and cappuccino, different kind of cereals, french croissants, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, dry banana and coconut, etc. At our client disposal also some gluten free products on request. We are now adding an Asian food selections for our asiatic clients. Anyway we appreciate each client request that allow us to improve our offer, rgds

Sentralt, fint og moderne hotel
Sentralt lite hotell rett ved jernbanestasjonen. Vi tok taxi til hotellet da vi ankom første dag. Det er helt unødvendig. Tar 7 min å gå. Det er ikke noe bråk fra togene. Hørte de ikke i det hele tatt mens vi var der. Hotellet er lyst og fint. Rene rom. Stort pluss for ganske stor balkong/terrasse. Var kun en stol på balkongen. Hadde vært kjekt m to. Ganske bra frokost med assortert pålegg, eggerøre, bacon, müsli, frukt og youghurt. Kaker. Hyggelig betjening kom og spurte om vi ville ha kaffe/cappuccino. Alt i alt veldig fornøyd. Hotellet har også en kjempefin møblert takterrasse med fantastisk utsikt over " byens tak"

Fantastisk hotell på alle måter! Rent og pent... God frokost, hyggelig personale, sentralt (like ved jernbanen) Stille og rolig... Spa med innendørs basseng, Takterasse. Kommer gjerne tilbake :)

The AC is not available in this hotel all year round and we were told if it’s hot we should open the window. The hotel decides when to turn the AC on. Your choices in April are heat or nothing. The staff is not very friendly and the hotel does not allow irons. We stayed in several hotels throughout Italy on our trip and this was not a 4 star hotel experience as advertised. The hotel also quoted us a flat rate of $30 euros for the taxi to the airport and the taxi driver told us they are wrong and it’s $45 euros.

Hotel super pulito, silenzioso e confortevole. Camera con balcone con una bella vista sulla piscina e verde, bagno con vasca e letto super comodo. Vicino la stazione Santa Maria Novella e in 15 minuti a piedi arrivi al centro di Firenze. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

For being so close to the train station it was very difficult to find for non Italian speaking visitors from other countries. Perhaps a visual walking map from the train station to the hotel would have been helpful.

Beautiful hotel near S.M. Novella Train Station
This was a great option for us during our 2 night stay since it was about a 6 minute walk to the train station. We were in room 314, we booked a standard double room (it seemed more like a Q bed). The room was perfect, modern, clean, and the bathroom was perfect (walk-in shower, toilet, and bidet). Breakfast was included, which offered a wide selection and was delicious. We did not try the hotel bar, nor the spa. The pool area appeared lovely, but the weather was cool while visiting. We arrived prior to check in time, however our room was ready thus we didn't need to take advantage of the complimentary luggage storage with the front desk. There was a mini bar in the room, which was not complimentary. The windows in the bathroom and room also open for some fresh air. The area surrounding the hotel and train station is not the best, but just be aware when walking when dark. We never had any issues, but just as a precaution. There is also a metro rail stop right outside the hotel if using during your time in the city. Check out was quick, and only needed to pay the nightly city tax. We would consider staying at this property again if visiting Florence.

No laundry in the facility but it states on expedia web search that there is laundry. I want to do my laundry and dont want the hotel to do it for you (at a specific time and there is service charge for it) or have to go outside and do laundry. Be careful when booking hotel that states that there is laundry. It can be very misleading. If i have known, i would never book any hotel with no laundry in the hotel.

Die Lage des Hotel gleich an einer Tram-Station hat durchaus Vorteile: An- und Abreise vom Flughafen und zurück sind daher problemlos. Allerdings befindet sich das Hotel in einer recht trostlosen Umgebung, nahe am Hauptbahnhof Firenze SMN. Auch hat das Hotel kein Restaurant, sodaß für Abendessen immer ein Fußmarsch notwendig wird. Die Restaurants in der Nähe sind auch alle höchstens durchschnittlich - am Bahnhof gibt es keine "Nobelküche". Unser Zimmer (118) ging leider zur Straßen(bahn)seite hin, und lag direkt über dem automatischen Garagentor - was sehr laut war, auch am sehr frühen Morgen. Man sollte daher lieber ein Zimmer zur Pool-Seite wählen, auch wenn's vermutlich teurer wäre... Die Straßenbahn selbst hörte man kaum! Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse üppig, und gut. Kurz: Hotel sehr gut, Lage nicht der Hit...

Wonderful hotel! The only issue was there are trolley rail tracks running directly in front of hotel, making it impossible to drop off luggage from our rental car. There was no way to drive and pull up directly in front of the hotel.

Property is very close and easy to get to from the train station and a reasonable walk to the Duomo & surroundings. Balcony is wonderful with a view of the Duomo, breakfast has a nice variety, condition of hotel and room is great. I stayed on the 5th floor and I think there were people moving the balcony furniture around which was loud and I’m a light sleeper. Bed was hard and uneven and pillows were very flat.

This hotel was in a continent location for the train station. It was very clean and the room was a good size. Breakfast options were excellent, a choice of sweet and savoury. In the pictures it shows an outdoor bar area with a view, but we couldn’t find that. Overall great stay!

Welcoming reception staff. Helpful and informative. Location good. Tram stop outside the front door, good for access, but not a noisy distraction. The range of food for breakfast gave a good choice, including an ice cream maker, which was a bonus in the summer heat. Spacious room had all we needed. Would definitely stay again, especially as an new outdoor pool area is nearly ready for use.

Here the facts: 1) Ugly area 2) No restaurant 3) No room service 4) No water in the room but to buy from the mini bar 5) No glasses, only cheap paper cups 6) The room was not clean any day, nor where the beds made 7) Toilet paper was not replenished. I bought it myself.

Dear Sir,thank you for your review.As per our conversation at check-out time we see that you have not cleaning of the room but after a controll we understand why: during your stay you put the "don't disturb" signal in the room so we wait to clean; it would be sufficient your request during your stay and, having chamber made all the day long, we would have clean the room immediately. Moreover: we have restaurant only for breakfast (as per information in our website), we have room service, we use biodegradable paper cups instead of plastic one. rgdsIrene
