Sentralt og rolig
Bodde på hotellet en natt på gjennomreise. Sentralt beliggende nær Ponte Vecchio, men i en rolig gate. Gammelt renessansehus med noe spesiell innredning, men det er slik som det ser ut på bildene. Stort rom, litt mørkt, men rent og velholdt. Ble tatt i mot på en fantastisk måte, entusiastisk og serviceinnstilt personale. Frokosten middels med sparsomt utvalg.

Very nice experience in Firenze
The hotel has a perfect location in Firenze. 10-15 min walk from the train station, 2 min from the river and Porto Vecchio. 5 min walk to the Dome. Good service and nice staff too :) My first choise if I go back to Florence again :)

Location, though difficult to find initially, in a superb location. The crowded and narrow streets made vehicular traffic and parking a major challenge. Do not recommend driving into the City Center area. Would have been better to arrange parking elsewhere and arrange transportation to the hotel.

NOISY!!! ZERO insulation, you hear EVERYTHING, even front desk night man clearing his throat or closing a drawer, not to mention people talking in rooms above, nextdoor, in corridors. While the staff was very kind, one was way too familiar calling everyone sweetie, honey, darling....

Great location but lots of steep steps before an elavstor. It seems all incidentals (room tax, laundry) must be paid immeadiately in cash. One of front desk staff is borderline inappropriate.

Amazing place! The staff was amazing. Feels like you’re part of the family. Gave us great restaurant recommendations. Very friendly and location is perfect. Everything within walking distance. If ever I’m back in Florence, I will definitely be staying there again.

What a wonderful place to stay! Alessandra was a student of Michelangelo's in the 16th Century, and this place has some serious history! The staff were very helpful and knew how to get around in Firenze - which is almost impossible to do on your own by car!

The stairs to the front desk are very long and steep, so I would never, ever recommend this hotel to travelers with heavy suitcases, the elderly, or people with bad legs. There is no doorman, and they don't help with carrying your suitcases. I was exhausted when I arrived at the hotel, and it was a complete disaster. The same thing happened when I checked out. This important information should be clearly stated. However, the staff was friendly, the hotel location was great, and if you understand the above points, please stay here.

The hotel is located at the upper levels of an old building. It is outdated. The front desk were friendly and helpful. Drop off/ pick up room key at front desk every single time. Kettle is available by requested. Little fridge was not working. Need to ask the front desk to turn on /off the heater. The biggest issue was no ventilation in bathroom.

A great stay in Florence!
It was amazing 6 nIghts stay in Florence. The hotel is close to the major attractions in the historical district in Florence, close to Uffizi, Arno river, etc. The hotel staffs were most friendly, the room was clean, and spacious. It’s a two star hotel, but everything else is a five star! hotel. It was a wonderful stay in Florence!

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is centrally located along the Arno so it is a great place to stay if you are looking to do Florence in a day or two. Very walkable to/from all the major sites and train station.

The staff is A-Mazing!!!! The breakfast is excellent and the location is perfect. Beds were comfy and bathrooms updated and clean. 5-Star experience. Definitely will stay again and definitely recommend!!

The hotel was well located and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was good in terms of quantity and quality. However, access to the hotel reception, once inside the building itself, involves walking up 75 steps (and another 25 steps to our room). Or, walk up 22 steps after entering the building and there is a very small elevator to take you to reception. Not good for anyone who has mobility issues. The bathroom in our room (16B) was a very unusual configuration, with the shower and sink in one area and the toilet and bidet in another, connected by a narrow opening. Very clean and totally functional - just unusual. The view from our room was not much - roof tops of adjacent buildings. The same view was available from the tiny hotel rooftop terrace (2-3 tables in very confined area).

We really liked our stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially Monte and the general manager. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is in the perfect place to visit the city. Would return.

The hotel, one block from Ponte Vecchio, is convenient to so many wonderful sites in Florence. The staff was most accommodating, responsive and helpful. While the area is quite noisy the rooms were soundproof and we were not disturbed by the outdoor noise. Overall, the room was clean; however, we did find bugs on the bottom of the warddrobe when we were packing to leave. Having to walk up two flights of stairs to reach the elevator to reception (on the 3rd level) was really the only other negative.

This hotel was quite unique. It is a bit challenging in terms of stairs up to the reception area and rooms but the elevator part way up definitely helped, especially with the luggage. The staff were wonderful, extremely welcoming and helpful with everything-e.g. booking us a cab to the airport in checkout. The breakfasts were delicious and well worth the cost. The hotel is also very close to most of the most important sites to see, Uffitzi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio etc. Our room was comfortable, simple but the bathroom was very modern and functional as was the air conditioning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors.
