Regarding of the position of the hotel as you mentioned is one of his point of strength because in only few minutes by walk you can arrive in all Florentine touristic main attractions, regarding the room sizes as you mentioned in the city center almost all the buildings have small room on the higher floors because during the middle ages and Renaissance time all the common buildings have small room with the exceptions of the rich family buildings, for your next stay we suggest you to book of our superior rooms or quadruple room who offer much space and comfort for your stay.
