«It has all basic necessities for a self-contained stay, the pool area with barbecue raises my grading of a slightly worn apartment motel. the manager is very hospitable, and gave plenty of critical and useful advice about dangers in swimming in summertime (jellyfish and insects) there are some good restaurant nearby, along a fabulous beach, a supermarket right up the street if you care to make your own food, and there are too many sights around to mention. Highly recommended, rent a car and stay ...

«This is perfect as a starting base for doing activities in the nearby surroundings. It's only about 15 min walk to the "4 mile beach" and about 20-25min walk to Port Douglas city centre. The owner was very helpful with al kinds of information. The rooms are spacious and have got all you need and more. There is even a washing machine and a dryer in the kitchen. «Rachel's place was an ideal base to explore the Cairns region. The place was clean and well kitted out if you want to self-cater. Secure off-street parking available, fast internet and comfortable beds. Each of the two queen size bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom too.»

«Spent 4 nights here. The unit is as described, very modern, spacious well equipped and clean. The balcony overlooks a good sized pool, nice gardens and is private. It is not too far from the city centre and the Esplanade. We encountered some difficulty accessing the lock box key set up as we are not familiar with these but that but the owner was contactable and able to assist us. We would certainly be staying here on our next visit.»
