«We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. «Stayed in the cottage room. Really small bathroom. The screened in porch, advertised as an upgrade to this room, and the reason we booked this room, was filthy and filled with hardware and cleaning supplies. Completely cluttered and, dirty and unusable. Breakfast was served and was not good. Eggs and fruit were edible, the rest was not. We were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and Dean and Cherie made it special with their fantastic hospitality. The food was delicious and all the amenities were so thoughtful from the sound machine, plush robes, small stocked refrigerator and so much more! We enjoyed meeting the other guests during social hour.»
