«This is a real gem of a find! I loved our stay here. GPS does take you to the back of the building but it’s located next to a large parking lot. Plenty of parking which was great for us because we have an extended cab f350 ford that does not fit into most parking spaces. «We stayed in this property bc our daughter’s graduation (Amherst) was sold out. We used the property to have a place to sleep and shower exclusively.The duplex was clean, well equipped with towels and linens. We used two of the 3 bedrooms. The king size bed was comfortable enough. The queen size bed (not the bunk bed) was very uncomfortable according to my daughter and her partner. «We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Chamberlain property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.The setting is absolutely beautiful. The lake views, abundant bird life, and lack of noise and light pollution made for such a relaxing vacation. «The neighborhood is a little dicy but we didn’t feel like we were in danger. It’s just kind of run down. The house was clean. Spacious. There are two queen beds and a twin not the queen and a full as described. Maybe they were confused because there was a full size headboard for one of the queens. 25 minutes from the Log Cabin where we had a wedding. Would have been nice if the code had been changed so my daughter could have gotten in with no hassle….oh well. All in all- not a bad experience. »
