«The cottage was peaceful, clean, and convenient to Hollins University, downtown Roanoke and Salem. There were plenty of good restaurants close by, and the property had all modern day amenities. The hosts were very gracious and attentive. I would love to return.»

«Great thoughtfully appointed little house so close to great hiking! The property is beautiful and we enjoyed grilling out on the deck after a long fabulous hike! Jessie was so easy to work with and she has added great touches throughout the house ( like a towel warmer, great coffee station). The backyard is great and safe if you travel with your dog! Ax throwing was fun too! We will definitely return!»

«We spent 4 days at the house with my wife, mother-in-law, and daughters with their boyfriends. Everyone had a great time. House is very well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every meal and never came up short on kitchen stuff. There's even a waffle maker. Lots of towels for the creek (and the kids used too many!). TV and wifi worked perfectly. No phone reception out there, but we didn't miss it. Owners were very helpful and gave us good directions to a put in for tubes. We spent ...

Perfect location for motorcycle riding the “Back Roads Discovery Route” with winding country roads and challenging Forest Service trails. Easy parking for our trailers. Fire pit to finish off the evenings with a campfire by the river. Great hosts with easy self check in.»
