We truly enjoyed our stay, but the way our departure was handled was unacceptable and has overshadowed an otherwise nice trip. Our airport transfer was arranged through the hotel’s affiliated transportation company. We were given a confirmed pickup time and followed all instructions. Despite this, no driver arrived. There was no communication, no update, and no response to calls or messages — all while we were traveling with a toddler and facing the risk of missing our flight. Because the transportation was booked through the hotel’s partnered provider, we trusted it would be reliable. When it failed, we were left scrambling and had to pay out of pocket for a last-minute taxi to the airport. While the front desk apologized, this was a service arranged through the hotel’s official travel partner, and guests should not bear the financial or emotional burden of that failure. We are requesting reimbursement for the taxi expense at minimum, and we believe additional goodwill compensation would be appropriate given the stress and risk this situation caused — especially traveling with a young child. We hope management reviews this seriously and makes it right.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Riu Resort in Falmouth. My first room, 0541, smelled strongly of mildew, had mold in the shower, and very low water pressure. When I requested a room change, I was charged an additional $128.00 USD despite the poor condition of the room. I was told to leave my luggage in a designated area at 12 p.m. and that my new room would be ready by 1 p.m., but it was not available until 3 p.m. During this time, my luggage was taken to another guest’s room without my consent, and my travel pillow went missing. These issues — room conditions, the unexpected charge, mishandled belongings, and long delays — made my stay extremely disappointing. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

Good's: The hotel and room are nice, clean, and in good shape. Food selections at the buffet offers variety of choice and taste good, but after 2 days, it gets boring. Need more options. We didn't dine at any of the specialty reataurants so can't comment. The staff are friendly. Bad's: Take 1 star away for the following reasons: 1) Nightly and kid activities are very limited. We were there for 3 nights and nothing good to watch at night. The kid club is very small and not much activities either. 2) No cocktails to order from if you dine in the buffet restaurant. Only ONE type of beer was offered (even at the bar). If you want any mixed drink, you need to go outside the restaurant and order and bring it back. 3) The beach has a lot of seaweed (but somewhat out of the hotel's control)

The bartenders were not only skilled at crafting delicious, refreshing cocktails but were also incredibly personable and attentive. Whether relaxing poolside or enjoying the swim-up bar, the team consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Their friendly energy added so much to the overall experience, making every afternoon by the pool feel special. The entertainment staff deserves huge recognition. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine effort to engage guests made each day exciting and each evening memorable. I came by myself for my birthday, on a solo trip. I HAD A BALL. Everything was perfect from the room, the staff, the entertainment and the resort in its entirety. Beautiful clean room, the food chef's kiss, Gabrielle at the front desk was very accommodating, as well the service staff. 1st time in Jamacia, definitely won't be my last. Thank you Aquarelle for such a great experience. Yall made me feel at home. Will be back soon.

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal! The resort was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the food was honestly impressive for an all inclusive. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff, especially the entertainment team. They brought incredible energy to every activity and had a way of getting everyone involved while keeping the vibes positive and upbeat. Their enthusiasm really elevated the entire trip. 10/10: we would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Rooms were beautiful and beautifully cleaned every day. The staff is super friendly, fun, and hard working. We enjoyed the different types and variety of foods. Can't wait to go back. The only draw back is that i wish the resort had ATM machines for cash withdrawals. There usually very long lines at local banks ATM's and run out money fast.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. My vacation started with the fact that I got a room with ants in it, they tried to fix it, but the next day the ants came back, they changed the room for me, for which I am appreciate. Unfortunately the weather was not good during my stay, so I decided to use the spa offered by the hotel. Manager Vanessa there is rude and not customer-oriented,it’s seems she is nice only with guests who use the services for an additional fee according to the conditions, you can use steam room for only 15 minutes and plunge for 15 minutes, and you must also bring your towel and bathrobe with you since they do not have them at the spa. I was surprised by this condition, but Okay, I brought everything with me, but I was upset the steam room wasn't working, it just looked like a little steam on the ceiling the plunge was dirty and with sand inside. All the food in the buffet is spicy for 7 days there was the same breakfast, lunch and dinner, no changes.

The room was spotless. The staff was always smiling and courteous and willing to help. The whole facility was fresh and clean and well maintained. The food and drinks were always fresh and delicious. Honestly zero complaints. Would highly recommend!
