In addition to its perfect location in Woods Hole footsteps from Stony Beach and town, there are so many thoughtful amenities the owners provided to make staying there relaxing and comfortable -- mini-split air conditioning in each room, king beds, big new fridge, two full baths, and lovely deck where we ate and bird-watched. Also we think the entry lock battery is low as it kept going out on us mid code. We wrote the Vacasa people and they wanted us to buy new batteries. NO. «The house is almost nice but has some serious problems that caused the stay to be mediocre. The supplies and house set up was nice. If the problems are fixed it would be a great place. Awesome back yard too. Issues: Major smell of cat pee. Unsure where it came from but it was quite strong. Upstairs AC vents were not working which made downstairs very cold when using the AC Upstairs shower had to be held otherwise it would only spray wall. Washing machine didn't work. «The location was perfect - walking distance from the town center and beach. Falmouth is a lovely town with many options for shops, restaurants, bars etc. The layout of the house was perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and well appointed. «A beautiful property and gorgeous home. Pictures were spot on. Appears to have been renovated in the last year or two, everything was excellent! Could use a few more pots/pans/spices/cleaning supplies. Gave it a 4 star for accuracy only because the listing does not indicate there is a renter in an upstairs apartment. « We had a brief 2 night stay. The house, although on the smaller size is roomy and comfortable. It is a very clean property. The host was very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. One caveat is the house is set back from a well traveled secondary road. There is some traffic noise that is noticeable in the living room area. But we did not have an issue with any noise distrubing our sleep.»
