«The hotel was great! Our room had a little balcony. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good size. The breakfast was fresh, with lots of options of meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt, and the staff prepared eggs of choice. Parking was available, But very tight spaces. The restaurant attached, for supper, was only okay. Walking into the town was so easy and there were lots of great restaurants nearby. We drove into Heidelburg old town and visited the castle during the days and it was a lovely ...

«The location of the hotel is near the summit of the Königstuhl hill of the Odenwald mountains. It might not be an ideal place to stay if you want to be close to the city of Heidelberg. But an excellent place for some peace and quiet, not to mention suberb recreational areas for hiking or bicycling.
Rooms are great with AC, very comfortable beds, clean and overall in mint condition.
Very good breakfast buffet with traditional German and intercontinental food.

«Staff is super friendly and flexible; it is a family owned and run business; they make you feel part of the family;
town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center.»
