«Overall lovely stay staff very friendly efficient with prompt service. As a 4 star hotel a few things could be improved like a fridge in the room to keep the bottled water they provided cold, air conditioning but probably would be too expensive to fit due to the age of the building and paintwork here and there needed touching up. There was a problem checking in to the hotel as they asked us to pay again even though we had already paid. They said they would sort it on checkout but this could have ...

«We enjoyed our stay, it’s very cosy and is in a serene location which is very private. Would definitely return. Hot tub was great. The only things I would change is the windows could’ve been clean as it obscures the beautiful view and the festoon lights did not come on when it got dark. We weren’t able to access the WiFi - if we were staying longer that would’ve been more of an issue. The bed area is so cosy it would’ve been nice to be able to get into a Netflix series or film on an evening.  ...

«Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. »
