«Everything around the park and where to go was very clearly set out, and the outdoor area had unexpected kid friendly activities. We were aware of the pool and playground, but there was some colouring and books which were great and unexpected.
The room was clean, and we were very happy with that. Being a pet friendly place, I was nervous about the possibility of previous let fur being around, but I didn't see any, and was pleased with the cleanliness.

«My girlfriend and I, 19 years old from Norway in Australia on a working holiday, had to evacuate from Cairns during cyclone Jasper, and ended up in Thornton, and at this motel. WHAT a happiness! These have to be the most hospitable hosts we have ever met :) The couple who run this are simply the most gracious people, who go out of their way to help.
