«I booked this location with the understanding that there were two beds. One bed in the den that was actually a closet. There wasnt much silverware, and coffee cups so we had to wash dishes. NO hand soap in the bathroom. And only TWO HORRIBLE PILLOWS ON THE BED. NO EXTRA ANYTHING. The bed was very comfortable, but I had to by pillows bc the ones provides were so thin. Extra linens and pillows would have been great. Also a bigger trash in the kitchen. A bath mat by the shower. And said ...

«We were in town for a wedding weekend. We had a total of 6 adults that stayed here. The wedding was at Countryside Banquet and Catering in Washington, IL. So the drive was simple and under 15 minutes from the Cottage on Columbus . We also enjoyed walking to the restaurants, ice cream at The Daily Scoop and Pour Brothers Craft Taproom as well as the local outstanding bakery, Trefzger’s. Known for scrumptious items but my fav are the thumb print cookies. This is a nice and safe neighborhood ...

«Overall the house was clean. The heat/air works. The house is quite old. Communication and response with the maintenance company was poor. During our stay, ants in the kitchen prevented use of the counter, sink, and dishes.»

«The property was advertised as an oasis. While the beds were comfortable and overall the property was clean, on the Friday evening we arrived, the front and back yard were unmowed, and the lights in the dining room, kitchen and oven hood did not work. Several lamps throughout the property were missing light bulbs. A towel holder in the half bath was not secure to the wall. There were extra pillows but no extra pillow cases, there was a pile of laundry in the laundry room, the bottom fridge ...

The sewer backed up in the basement, spilling into the carpet of the bedroom where people were sleeping.
