This house was the absolute perfect rental for our trip to Maine. It was a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but far enough away from the crowds that it was a nice, restful retreat at the end of a long day of exploring. The sun room is a real highlight; we all enjoyed time everyday watching the lake regardless of the weather outside. If we ever find ourselves planning a vacation to Maine in the future, we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was a great size for our family. We loved the lake view and enjoyed using the boats and fire pit. We even ordered lobster from 10 minutes down the road to eat at the house one night. The owner was available quickly to answer any questions. The house is on a road that was busier than we expected and you could hear noise from the road often.

This house was exactly what we needed for our stay in Maine. We wanted a small town out of the way from Bar Harbor but close enough to make the drive into Acadia and surrounding area. The amenities in and out of the house was exactly as we hoped. The kayaks got use nearly every day and the Smores kit was a very welcomed surprise by our kids. The beds were comfortable and kitchen and laundry area was stocked perfectly with just enough. The view of the lake was beautiful at all times of the day. The house was a little buggy but to be expected that close to the lake and in the woods and the path down to the lake could be cleaned up a little better but these are the only two notes/suggestions amidst a huge list of pros and A things! Would return if we ever find ourselves back in Maine!

This is a great property right on the lake. The house was clean and comfortable with a great fire pit for evenings by the fire. We traveled about 30 minutes to both Acadia and Bar Harbor with ease. Really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend!

Family Vacation

A Lovely Place

Accommodations were comfortable and clean. It had a well stocked kitchen with everything you need. The fire pit was nice and the s’more kit was a nice surprise.

Great Place To Stay

This property is very well equipped but unpretentious thus making it extremely comfortable. Everything in this property is very well thought out. And it is very clean. The kitchen is quite amazing. Communication was great as was checking in and access. I would highly recommend staying here when in the Ellsworth area.

House on Graham Lake

Relaxing and fun in the same trip

Very well kept relaxing home. You can stay at the house and relax for the day fishing, kayaking, reading a book on the screened in porch and have a bonfire in the evening or go to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for the day. Highly recommend renting this home!

Beautiful home, perfect location!

This house was just beautiful. It had everything we needed, on a beautiful lake and an easy drive to all the local hotspots including Acadia. The owners were great to work with and quick to respond. You can tell they love the place too and keep it in great condition. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Maine.

Exactly as described

The home was so clean that I wish there was a 5+. We used this home as a place to stay while hiking Acadia. It isn’t as close to Bar Harbor as we would have liked but was perfect for us in every other way.

We loved the property and enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Also enjoyed making S’mores ( the host generously supplied ingredients) over the fire pit. My husband and son caught a lot of fish out of the lake. We also enjoyed the puzzles and games they had there for us to use.
