«The location was excellent and there was plenty of room for our family. Having a kitchen with appliances helped us save money by allowing us the option to cook meals. Close to the attractions and stores we wanted to visit. We had no problem getting in and out of the driveway. Home appears to be in a closed in neighborhood so there was almost no traffic.»

"We stayed one night as we where driving through Blowing Rock. The hotel is charming and private, yet within walking distance to the centre of Blowing Rock. The rooms felt very clean and spacious. The included breakfast was alright - nothing special but atleast theres some warm options to choose from. Friendly staff as well. The negatives: the gap around the room door ment that voices/sounds in the hallway easily made its way into the room. This was not really an issue for us as we stayed here in a time of the year with less travellers, but i guess this could be troublesome in the high season. Furthermore the pool was closed (they had an option at a neighbouring hotel instead) and there was a bit of mold on one of the types of bread they served for breakfast. All in all the negatives did not bother us too much. This was among the cheapest hotels in Blowing Rock at the time i booked, and I would certainly stay here again. "
