«If you’re looking for privacy, this isn’t the place to book an escape… Host is very friendly, but also lingers outside close to the rental after dark and at random times which was very uncomfortable for us as we felt like our space was invaded. She also waited for us in the driveway to greet us and conversate, we prefer no contact with hosts, maybe that’s just us though. «The Hillside Hideaway was exactly what we hoped for: clean, comfortable, quiet, close to shopping and restaurants and a safe environment for our nine-year old pup Lucy. We stayed four nights during a mild weather period, and we made the most of the trails and parks in the area. My husband and I are in our seventies -- we live an hour way from Johnson City and we enjoy mini-vacations that don't require long-distance travel. This spot was perfect for us!»
