«The room was amazing! Beautifully arranged and all the amenities, the best was the porch overlooking the trees and the birds, breakfast was great. It’s pretty far from La Fortuna and most activities and wr didn’t rent a car. The host did drive us but we were limited in what we could do. »

«I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. And don't forget about breakfast. Everyday, we had homemade to order ...
