The accommodations were adequate and the nightly price was excellent. The decor was nice. The owner lives upstairs and is readily available, if needed. Unfortunately, there is no ceiling insulation so we could here them, when they were home. The house is currently up for sale, and this may account for some of the concerns we had. There were two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. We used both rooms because of the bed sizes. Both adequate, but some pot lights were hanging in the rooms. A safety concern was that the single bed was against the wall, where there was an electrical outlet. If a child slept in this room, they may attempt to stick something in the socket. A cover is needed. The bathroom towel bar was very loose, and there was a shortage of dishes and supplies. Not enough dishes for 2 people, no tea towels, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no paper towels, 2 dinner knives, no toaster, 2 cups, 2 glasses and 2 bath towels & 1 hand towel for 2 for 4 days. We contacted the host and asked for supplies, which were left at the top of the stairs, for pick up. As tired guests we didn't want to have to contact the host for basics. Any other VRBO we have stayed at had the basics. If they are going to continue offering this property they need to restock in preparation for guests. They are sitting on a little gold mine, but this isn't how to profit from a VRBO rental. Past reviews don't reflect our concerns, and this may be because of possible sale.
