«Beautiful and clean house. We loved sitting out on the deck. Very relaxing. We used the kayaks a day. The water was not anything I wanted to swim in, very muddy, but they were getting a lot of rain so I'm not sure if it is always like that. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. You will need to bring/buy your own dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc. They just give you 2 of each to get started. It was nice to have the extra fridge downstairs. «As far as the house location , dock and yard it was great. There were so many mouse droppings in the kitchen and several bedrooms that I felt it to be a health hazard. We heard scratches at night. Being there with a toddler, it was very disturbing. We left a day early. The a/c was also not functioning properly, so the daytime was hot. Nighttime was ok. Will not go back.»

«The house was so clean and the host is exactly the kind of host that makes it so much easier and pleasant to plan a trip. The parking was not very easy for two trucks and boats, and the dock had no electricity so we ended up docking at the marina. But overall an excellent place to stay.»

«Wonderful location with easy access to a community boat ramp and dock. Located only 20 min from Patti's 1880's Settlement where you can get the best pork chops in Kentucky. House is spacious--more than it appears in the photos. Comfortable beds and plenty of quality towels provided. Front porch was lovely to sit out on. Good communication with host.»

«We truly enjoyed our stay this year and the host was extremely helpful and accommodating with excellent communication. It's nice having a carport to store the boat under and it is very close to the Jonathon Creek boat ramp. There are a couple of different ways to approach this rental, and I would suggest taking the farthest "Oasis Road" turn off to the west if you're pulling a boat.
