«Absolutely no complaints. It was clean, well located and the staff was friendly and helpful. FYI street could get a bit noisy and bleed into the room. »

«I did not like the area. I did not like that the doors were always closed, that there was a slight gap in the blinds so people could look into my room. It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot.»

«We loved everything about Hotel Cucuve! The service is top notch. The beds and bedding so comfortable, slept great every night. The location is perfect, easily walkable to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Loved the terrace that was available for us to use by Bahia Mar. We spent a lot of our downtime there. Loved that they had filtered water available for us to fill our water bottles, saved us a fortune in bottled water! The breakfast was good too, cooked to order eggs every day.  ...

«Amazing place. Really clean and quiet. I loved everything, including the puppy that lives there! Would definitely come back. The main avenue was really close to Lava House, so you can come and go as you please and it just takes a couple minutes to reach the main bay. Overall I had a great experience with this place.»

«Our family of five stayed in two rooms. Marco and Andres made us feel comfortable and at home. They were extremely accommodating and helped us with all our needs! Breakfast is included as well which included fresh bread, eggs made to order and fruit. The property was beautiful and there were some alpacas on site. This stay was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. 10/10 would recommend and if I come back we would definitely stay here!!»

«I am a middle aged woman travelling solo. The room was perfect and secure. The pool is not designed for lounging in the sun, but great for a dip. Tortuga Bay is about a 45 minute walk on a well maintained path. When you get to the beach, go to he right and walk to the end where you’ll find a path through the mangrove and opens up to a calm pool like swimming area with shade trees and great snorkelling. Very safe to venture out anytime to explore the town, enjoy some wine and walk home. »

«The hostel was not in the midle of the centre, which is good in a party place like Baños. Still close to everything. The staff was very friendly and service minded and the rooms were very clean. They sold beers in the reception and there was hammocks outside.»

«It was quiet area. I was unable to contact host on arrival, it is an out of way location, quite stressful. It worked out but id suggest a sign at gate so guest knows they are in right place, plus an intercom or bell. I went in order to have a quiet place, it definitely delivered. The view was really great. The distance from food and shops was far. With no fridge, microwave or coffeemaker, options were limited. «We adored our stay at Pepe’s! The room and bed (firm) were comfortable and to our liking. The location is *very* walkable to several squares, restaurants, shopping, and even a few great beer spots (two breweries and a Belgian spot). Alexandria and Estephanie were extremely accommodating and warm, we were very grateful for them. The breakfasts were big and delicious, and daily coffee nice and strong!
