But Moran State Park is a half mile away with a large playground and beach for young ones. The home is nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood, offering privacy while remaining close to Eastsound and Moran State Park.

We highly recommend bringing your own vehicle or renting a car once you arrive via ferry. While Orcas Island is walkable in some areas, many of the island’s most scenic spots—like Moran State Park, Cascade Lake, and Turtleback Mountain—are best reached by car.
