The Space:

The Dacious by Tiny Away is tucked away in East Feluga, just a short drive from Mission Beach. This unique farm stay is one of North Queensland’s most peaceful holiday homes. It features a private dam with a sandy beach, lush tropical surrounds, and the soothing sounds of nature.



If you feel like exploring, nearby gems like Paronella Park, Etty Bay, and Hinchinbrook Island are just a short drive away. Or simply stay in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.



The 139-square-foot tiny home features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: There may be farm animal and agricultural-related noise at various times during your stay with us.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home, explore bush tracks, go birdwatching, and meet the farm animals (with host supervision). Restricted areas include the host's private residence.



Local markets with crafts, food, and plants are also nearby. Ask your host for more info.



We ask guests to only contact their hosts if they need medical attention or maintenance.

The Dacious by Tiny Away in East Feluga is just 20 minutes from Mission Beach. Set among sugarcane fields and backed by the Walter Hill Range, it offers a quiet base close to the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest.



From this peaceful spot, you’re perfectly placed to explore the region — wander through the fairytale-like Paronella Park, walk rainforest trails in Djiru National Park, and cruise through Hull River’s mangroves. Take a dip in the striking Cardwell Spa Pools, relax at Etty Bay or Kurrimine Beach, and enjoy a stroll at Lacey’s Creek. For a touch of island adventure, head to Hinchinbrook or catch the ferry to Dunk Island.

From Cairns:

- Train & Bus: Queensland Rail to Tully (~2.5 hours), then transfer to a bus or taxi.



From Townsville:

Flying to Mission Beach

From Cairns Airport (CNS):

- Drive (~1 hour 45 minutes via Bruce Highway).

-Take a direct bus from Cairns City to Mission Beach.



From Townsville Airport (TSV):

- Drive (~2 hours 35 minutes via Bruce Highway).

- Use Greyhound Australia bus services for a direct connection.

- No direct flights land in Mission Beach, but both airports provide rental car and shuttle services for onward travel.



Other Things to Note:

- Wifi is not available

- There’s a vacant caravan at the front

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Smoking is allowed on designated areas on property

- The beach is currently undergoing its yearly maintenance

- Expect limited connectivity as the tiny home is set in a rural locality

- Turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving

- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra and Optus; Weak signals for the rest

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.



Farm Notice:



- We have (4) free-roaming chickens and roosters crowing in the early morning

- Outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
