«The property is in a great location, leafy older suburb with stunning old and new houses, close to shops, restaurants and tourist spots. The 3 bedrooms all gave queen beds. The share bathroom even has an TV so you can have a bath and not miss out. We were guests in winter so didn’t use the outdoors which was well setup fir casual drinks and dinner»

We didn't know Government House and believed we were staying in a repurposed mansion like one we know of in Melb. «The house and property were absolutely beautiful—very clean and perfect for a family stay. The only minor feedback would be that the kitchen could use a few more oven trays and dishes. We were also woken at 7am by the gardener who turned on the sprinklers and then began mowing the lawn. While we completely understand the need for property maintenance, it would have been appreciated if we had been notified in advance.»

«The place was filthy, stains on the carpet dirty windows. Broken doors & the garden was over grown so couldn't use it. Also 2 cars in garden that host said were being moved, but after looking properly in to it they have been there for months. Photos used in the advert on website are years old, from when the property was sold 2 years ago, so very misleading. Had no communication from host. Would not recommend staying here at all. We were very disappointed.»
