«I loved staying at The Beaches because everything was perfect, the owners were on hand to do breakfast every morning which wasn't limited to either a full English or just cereals (as in some B&B's that I've stayed in), they were happy to be of any help that you needed. I would be very happy to stay there next year when I go down again. There was nothing to hate about staying there.»

«I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. «Big mistake, this facility should have been renovated 10 years ago. I do understand why they have a “ no refund on cancellation policy “ . Dirty, mould in bathroom, carpet that “sticks” to your feet, old garbage in closet from former guest. Room smelled of stale old beer. Damp bed liner and a thin chap foam mattress with no support. »

«It was great, the rooms where clean, bedding and towels spotless. Staff could not be more friendly accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, made to order and a large selection all fresh I might add. There are a few quirks around the building but this is what I was expecting from a building of this age, would I stay here again, without a doubt, next time we are in the area this will be our go-to place. Thanks for a great stay.»
