«This place was clean, confortable and perfect for our group, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind to us - they were even better than the place. Two very minor downsides - it's a bit of a drive into Lexington (about 6 miles, and a slow drive on country roads) where our activities were, and the high windows let in light earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. But those were minor to us. We'd stay here again, without question.»

«We spent 4 days at the house with my wife, mother-in-law, and daughters with their boyfriends. Everyone had a great time. House is very well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every meal and never came up short on kitchen stuff. There's even a waffle maker. Lots of towels for the creek (and the kids used too many!). TV and wifi worked perfectly. No phone reception out there, but we didn't miss it. Owners were very helpful and gave us good directions to a put in for tubes. We spent ...

«Beautiful rustic location on a mountain river. Everything provided for rafting, kayaking, or fishing—or just relaxing and enjoying the views. Perfect location for motorcycle riding the “Back Roads Discovery Route” with winding country roads and challenging Forest Service trails. Easy parking for our trailers. Fire pit to finish off the evenings with a campfire by the river. Great hosts with easy self check in.»

«If you need a place in beautiful Bath County, this cottage is a great choice! Pretty much all we needed was available to us, and the layout of the cottage is perfect for hanging out with family. Comfortable beds, spacious updated bathrooms, and a large efficient kitchen are just some of the great points. A peaceful retreat!»

«Everything was just as shown in the pictures. We were attending college events in Lexington and this space was an easy drive to town. It was nice to be in the country and enjoy coffee in the screened in porch each morning before starting the day. We watched deer walk up the driveway and listened to the birds sing while we ate breakfast. Great views of sunrise over the hills from the other deck. We would definitely stay again.»

«What can I say other than, Magnifique! The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.»
