This place is in a run down neighborhood right off the Glenn Hyw in earshot of the traffic noise. Yes, there is a mountain in front of the house, but everything in Alaska has a mountain in view. «Communication with Troy was easy and quick. The house was clean and well equipped. (Bed was super comfy.) The entryway code system is the best! No keys or cards to fiddle with. The area is old Alaskan and kinda grubby but once you get inside it’s well appointed and modern. At end of the street so quiet. So many “goods” to outweigh the “bads “ of a non-attractive neighborhood. Thanks, Troy.»

«I LOVED this vrbo! Traveled down from Fairbanks and this was the perfect home away from home. Had plenty of toys for the kids inside and out and they absolutely loved the chickens. Alona was beyond accommodating and made sure our stay with four young kids went smooth. We travel to Anchorage a lot for gymnastics and I will definitely be booking this place again.»

«We enjoyed our stay and loved the convenience to restaurants and downtown area. The beds are very comfortable and the fireplace was nice on cold days. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The garage was very convenient given the March snowstorm. We had over 8" of snow during our stay and luckily are comfortable shoveling because there wasn't a plow that came by to do the driveway or nearby street. Overall would stay again!»

«We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect, great location. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Everything was so clean and organized. We had a hiccup with the check in process. «The property is about 20+ minutes from Anchorage airport. The home is quaint in the sense that part of the lower floor is a garage conversion. A commode is stuck next to the kitchen in a hallway closet size room. One has to wash hands at the kitchen sink. The upstairs mid bedroom has the toilet and shower open to the room without a separation. Awkward at best. The master suite , bathroom and the upstairs sitting areas are appealing. The home can sleep 5 comfortably, 7 with kids.»

"Et helt greit hotell å overnatte på. Frokosten som ble levert er vel noe av det enkleste jeg noen gang har fått, hadde gjerne noe å gjøre med at det var 100 soldater også som bodde her. Vi hadde bare en overnatting før vi dro videre til Talkeetna for å fiske i en uke på Talkeetna Fisching Lodge. 10 min kjøring med Uber til Bass Pro Shop som er et must for en som elsker jakt og fiske. Hotellet ligger på E 3rd Ave som er paralellgaten til E 4th Ave hvor hundesledene starter fra i hundesledeløpet Iditarod på sin vei til Nome. Har ikke så veldig stort behov for å bo alt for flott så kommer gjerne tilbake her om jeg trenger et par rimelige overnattinger."
