«Spacious and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. Since I lived in Alaska for over 42 years, my wife for 57 years, and we still have lots of family and friends it made access to anywhere in Eagle River or Anchorage a breeze. The bed was comfortable and the house was mostly well equipped. Since we were there 10 days and my wife usually made dinner for as many as 17 people each night, there were some kitchen items she needed so we had just our kids bring over. «The desription of the cabin as "Scenic Alaskan cabin in the mountains" is NOT accurate. It is an old 2 story duplex, not a cabin. This place is in a run down neighborhood right off the Glenn Hyw in earshot of the traffic noise. Yes, there is a mountain in front of the house, but everything in Alaska has a mountain in view. «The pictures were misleading, causing us to choose not to stay at apartment B, even though we paid for it. The photos showed both apartments, along with multiple beds. When my party of 3 showed up at the apartment, we noted that there was only one bed. When I messaged the owner stating that we needed to cancel the reservation before the established check-in time, I received no answer.»
