«Overall the stay was nice, however there was a hole appearing in the ceiling of the main bedroom and the en suite bathroom smelt really horrendously of sewage. We were unable to stay in the room as it smelt so bad, even with the fan on and the windows open. We were also asked if we would like to reserve a parking a lot behind the property, to which we said yes. However upon arrival there were no parking spaces available.»

«This property truly is a 5 star. It is clean and modern with all the required amenities as well as lots of detailed extras including welcome gifts and robes to be used during your stay. Chris was an absolutely amazing host with attention to detail and was always available to offer assistance and answer our questions. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. The location is amazing with quick access to the university and the walking path along the river as well as local shops and sights.  ...

«Secluded Georgian house surrounded by trees with ample parking. Usually a rental apartment's size is exaggerated by the photos; this one definitely was not. Each room was spacious, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Beds super comfortable and bathrooms immaculate. Easy walking distance to the town centre along the river. Would be my first choice to stay in Durham again.»

«The communication was prompt. Our biggest issue was finding the property late in the night as Google Maps takes you to the opposite house! You definitely need to add a note to the property listing. The house is as shown in photos, newly refurbished, clean and nice. The kitchen and bathroom at the back of the office needs to be brought up to the standard of the rest of the house. These rooms lack both furnishings and facilities and feel like a different house altogether! We didn't cook so can't ...

«We used the apartment as a base to spend a day at Beamish. Overall the apartment was good, there were just a couple of niggles which need sorting otherwise everything was ok. You need a car if you are staying here as the area is very hilly although there is a bus route close by. Iff we were to come back to this area then I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
