«Although the location and views were wonderful, the home itself was disappointing. Upon entering, we did not get the cozy feeling of an Irish home. Decor was at a bare minimum, with empty shelves and bookcase. The kitchen was lacking in many necessary items that you would expect and require to prepare a meal (ie frying pan, large bowls, coffee mugs) Every morning the water ran out (completely stopped working) before all 4 of us could shower. «Smooth booking, cot and highchair provided as requested. Great kitchen and dining space with plenty of lovely kitchenware. Heating and hot water easy and preset. Beach near the property was lovely (need to go over slippy rocky pathway to access but kids and adults could do so). Views from house were mountains, green fields and farm animals, very peaceful. «I stayed at Jerry's Cottage for 2 weeks, one week with my sisters and one week solo. We all loved the cottage: the amazing vistas in all directions, and the fun of finding ourselves in the midst of a working sheep farm. Being there in lambing season was a bonus. «The house is steps from the restaurant district. Great views of the harbor across the street. Very quiet after about 9pm. Nice fire stove in the living room with wood supplied. Nice in the morning to take the chill off. Both bathrooms are in the 2nd floor but it works out well. The beds are fantastic and we sleep better here than at home.
