«This is a fantastic location just a short distance from town. The hosts were awesome! The bed was very comfortable. The large room with adjacent deck is well appointed. The house is across the street from the ocean and a pebbly beach. Loved the view! We highly recommend ordering their dinner which they bring to your room. It was extremely good! We HIGHLY recommend a stay at ‘A View with a Room’!»

«Just to step into our accommodation with the heat pump going was awesome! So lovely and warm with a cold day outside! Cleanliness couldn't be faulted. Proximity to St Clare and the beach, cafes and restaurant just a short walk away was really the icing on the cake! Although all the TV channels was a winner as well. «We spent one night and wished we could have stayed more. So beautifully presented , spotlessly clean and homely. The beds were super comfortable and lovely linen. Plenty of heating within the home. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Great location too. There was only two of us but this could easily accommodate a family too. We will definitely rebook next time we’re in Dunedin.»

«We were contacted by the property owners/managers to write a review and that is what we’ve done. Unfortunately after booking the property 2 weeks in advance we were contacted 1 hour prior to our arrival and told it was no longer available to us as we were bringing our very well behaved golden retriever. They told us the property was not pet friendly. On their website when we booked the property was listed as pet friendly and still is. Be weary pet owners!»
