«We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Water was too low for kayaking but the house was very roomy and comfortable. It is as the pictures depicted and the area is extremely quiet. Even though it ended up being only 3 of us staying the house could easily sleep10 as advertised - we stayed there because of a family reunion at my sisters in Blacksburg which took about 40 minutes to get to her house. Would recommend this property to a big group as it can handle it.Thanks for the comfortable ...

«This is the second year at the Lazy Bass. We had such a wonderful time. The house is in such a great location and all the local neighbors are so friendly. The only issue we had was the gas grill did not work. Lindsey with Blue Ridge Escapes was wonderful and said she would alert the owners. Can’t wait for next year. »

We were hoping for a night with friends grilling out and just catching up and the grill had not gas. The advertisement said this was not going to be a problem. «We had a nice time. The home was clean. The water access was nice. The bedroom with the bunk bed did not have lightbulbs in the ceiling fixture and there were not extra bulbs in the utility closet, so we sent our youngest daughter to bed with a cell phone. Additionally, the door in the bedroom stuck since it was hot outside, so we learned quickly not to let her close the door. Overall, the place was lovely. We had a nice time.»

«Owner was very easy to communicate with. The property was fantastic and everything we needed to disconnect. The stars were amazing and the firepit was perfect for the evenings. Only noise we heard were crickets. It's very quiet, secluded and peaceful. Bring AWD or 4X4, not a car. Driveway is a fun journey through the woods but small cars beware. The cabin was enough for our family of 4 and 2 dogs although we spent most of our time outside. Definitely recommend this property and be ...

«Perfect place for the Labor Day end of Summer weekend! We brought rafts and floated the River a couple of times. Kyakers went fishing and paddling up and down the river. We sang, laughed, watched the Virginia Tech game, and had a great time! Location was pretty much in the center of all our houses! The house had everything we needed. Great pontoon-dock and ease of access to the water.»
