«Perfect location, our room had a view over the river and the city, parking in private hotel garage. Easy to find. Lots of restaurants and cafes around the river on both sides, Sainsbury's 2 min from the hotel. 10 min walk to the Shambles. Nice staff. The only bad thing is the very hard beds and an outdated bathroom with only one soap for hair and body combined. No aircondition. But big spacious rooms. The hotel also had a lift.»

«This is a very cozy hotel in the heart of York, with very short walking distance from the city center. It was very convenient with their gated car park. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of hot and cold food. The room was nice and clean, with a good bed. We will stay at this hotel again.»

«It was overall very nice but a couple of things let them down.. Firstly the dining room extremely cold and not a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal😑. The evening menu not the quality of food one would expect for such a high quality location. Not recommended as a restaurant. »
