«Stort hotell sentralt i Austin. Gangavstand til de fleste attraksjoner, samt bargaten 6th street. Bra service i god Amerikansk ånd. Fint rom med god plass og godt renhold. Vi bodde i 11. etasje, med utsikt over byen. Frokost servert i Champions bar, som også var veldig hyggelig om kvelden. Valet-parking gjorde det enkelt å komme med bil. Anbefaler dette hotellet og ikke minst, ta en tur til Austin! IT Rocks!»

«It was a terrible experience to stay at the Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta Hotel. I arrived for check-in at 15.00 (the check-in time) but my room was not ready, and I was downgraded to a smaller and poorer room, without any form of compensation. In addition to being small, the room was also outdated and could really need a renovation. «The lake view was awesome. Free parking was nice. The staff was friendly. We had a power outage our last day and the generator kicked in pretty quick, but we had limited service (partial channels, one elevator, only two food choices in the restaurant - wings / chicken tenders). The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable. The room was lacking in drawer space - it had the TV stand that had a space for the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It had three small drawers. «This is a modern hotel in an ideal location with just a few minutes walk to the city and lively bars on 6th Street. Our room was large and well equipped, breakfast was very good and the staff were great. The hotel has parking but we didn't use this facility. I would recommend walking down 6th Street away from the city (About 15 mins walk) under the I35 for a more laidback relaxing day/evening with some great bars, restaurants and micro breweries (Zilkers Brewing, Lazarous Brewing and Saddle Up ...
