The room was super clean and river view was really beautiful. Every staff was really kind and helpful. Highlight of the stay was definitely the pool and breakfast buffet with wide selections of international and local food. We loved it so much we have just delay our flight by one day and booked one more night with them

Superb Hotel
Make no mistake, the Melia Vinpearl is faultless. There seems little point in listing all the good things about this hotel, as everything is top notch. Having said that, the best thing about the Melia is the staff. I would love to return to this hotel sometime soon.

Pros: Convenient location (market and restaurants surrounding, Vincom shopping mall next door), lovely views of the city and river from hotel, large size bedrooms, beautiful building (externally and internally) heated indoor pool, comfy bed and 3 pillow selection, in-room mini bar, Cons: service and attitude of some of the staff on duty which we have spoken with management about; food we ordered from room service took a very long time and freshness could be improved, approx 30 kids using the indoor pool for swim practice from 5pm daily which makes the pool area quite busy and noisey, floor to ceiling windows in the bedrooms dirty which affected viewing, some marks on walls and bathroom which could be removed with a deeper clean, must pay to access sauna Overall, to our disappointment, we found the stay didn’t meet our expectations in terms of service. There’s great potential so a note to management that a genuine smile and positive attitude could make an average become a great stay.

Really nice luxury hotel and staff were very nice and helpful. Beautiful decor and large rooms. Close to the local markets and the hotel was helpful with tour bookings. Shopping mall next door for any needs. Lovely scenic waterfront too.

It’s a decent hotel but a bit dated. They struggled to seat people at breakfast which meant we ate in a corridor next to the lifts. It’s nothing f special but then again not a lot of competition.

Overall wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is well-appointed and clean. Excellent beds - softer than the typical beds we’ve encountered in SE Asia at other hotels or Airbnbs. Hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating, went out of their way to help ensure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in our fare and had a wide variety of local and western options, very tasty. Airport pickup was easy and fast. They weren’t able to help us arrange a taxi or other transfer to the train station at the end of our stay, but that day was early during the Lunar New Year. Otherwise they almost certainly would have been able to

If you want to feel rich and bougie, stay here! Everything was good about this hotel. The bed was comfortable, the pool and jacuzzi were huge, the staff was very friendly and helpful… I could go on and on.

Lovely stay
Beautiful hotel. Definitely 5-star. Cheerful staff throughout, like An, and most are working on their English. Wonderful complimentary breakfast. Not much for a tourist to do in Dong Hoi during the winter.

We really enjoyed our stayed, everything was great except dining options. Not much of food options to choose from. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the spa ladies.
