«Das Haus ist geräumig, behaglich und sauber, der fußnahe Strand an jedem Tag auf andere Weise schön. Für uns als Familie mit Teenagern waren viele Ausflugsziele in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung - dafür waren auch die im Haus vorhandenen Wanderkarten, Flyer und Broschüren sehr hilfreich. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Sitzmöbel sehr bequem, so dass man sich auch bei nicht ganz so strahlendem Wetter gut erholen konnte. Der Kontakt zu Noreen und Brendan war sehr nett und unkompliziert. ...

«We spent our entire 2 week vacation at Cottage Mary Rose as our home base from which to explore the southwest part of Ireland. It was perfect! Genuine Ireland at its best. «The cottage is as described. Nice touch is that the family history of the last Irish inhabitant is shown on the wall. Living and kitchen are rather dark. Conservatory is really nice and light. Local roads are narrow and winding so max speed of 80 or 100 km/hr cannot be reached. Hence supermarket (Kenmare) is 45-60 min drive depending on traffic. Supply of towels is rather limited: 1 bath towel per person for a 4 night stay. »

«We love this place and will definitely return again. The locals were griping about the weather but coming from LA we were delighted by the wild changes in scene and hunkering down by the fireplace was as delightful as being out on Inch beach in the sun. Liam and Siobhan were great hosts!»

«My family had amazing time together on this holiday. The cottage itself was clean, my husband and my son enjoy star gazing at night time and more importantly was amazing experience listening to Irish musical tradition that the island can offer. «It was great! After the initial shock of the size (online picture made it appear larger than it was, would have been ideal for 2 people but not so much for 3 adults). Loved the old charm of the renovated stone building and the setting was perfect. A short walk to the beach and a short ride to Dingle. Great hiking nearby and pub just down the street. The host and on-site manager were both responsive and accommodating. Would definitely go back again but would choose one of the larger cottages.»

«House is a short drive to Killarney National Park, and in a rural area. There’s a small convenience store right next door, owned by the home owner. The owner, himself, is very welcoming. If we are ever to travel to the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.»
