«Overall, the living areas are clean. There is a beautiful floral scent throughout the house, and the lighting is adequate even at night. The ambiance of 125 year-old creaking stairs and wood adds to the house’s charm. The staff are very attentive and pleasant, and their breakfasts were delicious. Daily happy hour is appreciated, and offers a chance to meet others staying at the residence. Our room was stuffy when we returned at night after a day exploring, but it did have an oscillating fan ...

«The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. Our hostess, Joellen, was friendly and courteous. She makes a mean waffle! Since we were the only guests that evening, we had a lovely conversation with her. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Galveston.»
