«Nice hotel with great location in a beautiful area we highly recommend visiting! The only strange part was that you come straight into parts the bathroom when entering the room, which makes it prone to get dirty very easily. Nice breakfast with various food-options. »

«Definitely my favorite place to stay here. The staff is all friendly and caring. They had a water outage when I was here this time, and they were kind enough to move me to one of the cottages they rent out next-door. I've always been happy staying here, and will definitely come back again.»

«This was our third time staying here and never again. It has gone way downhill ended up leaving right after checkin. There was a terrible smell that greeted us in the hallway and into our room. Everything was very dirty. The ac/ heat was super musty smelling. Will never return. »

«The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The suite was clean and clise to the ocean. The only issue is the tv kept shutting off. When I called they said something was broke and to be fixed monday.»

«Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. »

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating for a last minute decision to stay and unsure if I would need to stay another night due to a road closing and undetermined reopening. The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind»

«I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we ...
