«It’s the best place that we stayed in the mountains. We saw pictures of the place but when we arrived we were more amazed than the pictures give credit for. The cabin had a creative style and was very spacious and perfectly clean and had a very positive atmosphere. «Remote location a top North Peak a 6000ft. The view is just amazing with a deck to take it all in. Coffee and Knitting each morning. Amazing being up above the clouds. It was exactly the retreat that my wife and I wanted. The place can be a little tricky to find after dark so checking in during daylight is key. My husband and I felt so happy in the cabin. The view is lovely. You can see the lake from the living room, dining room and the deck. It was so peaceful there, and very quiet at night.. We could hear the wind in the trees, watched chipmunks, heard doves and loved being surrounded by the oak and pine trees that are on the property. «The cottage is immaculate and decorated in a very pleasant manner that fits the Julian vibe. When I had questions, the host answered them quickly. All appliances are new, the kitchen and bath have both been very recently remodeled with attractive finishes. Very pleasant ambiance. My only cautionary note is that when booked thru VRBO, my credit card was charged a very large damage deposit upfront along with the cost of the stay. Perhaps that could be reconsidered. »
