«This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is ...

«Cute place! It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen to use to do some make and freeze meals for my dad who was in the hospital having surgery. It was a plus to be able to bring our dogs along. The bed was very comfortable.»

«Stayed here over the winter while helping some family do some moving. Perfect Property for what we needed plus more. Every morning waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the frozen lake. Comfy warm living room with fireplace and plenty of seating. John was extremely helpful with our check in process. 5 stars and we hope to stay again. »

«Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for our family group of 15 & the location was very convenient to Crosslake. However we arrived after the first snowfall & the driveway & steps were not cleared. You have to climb the steps to access the house & they were slippery. We could not find a shovel & the access to the room above the garage was not obvious when nothing was cleared. Also, the garbage service had not picked up the garbage from the previous week.
