I made reservations the night before knowing we would arrive after midnight, as our flight had been delayed multiple times. I sent a message through Expedia to let the hotel know we were arriving after midnight. I also tried calling the hotel before leaving but no one picked up. We arrived at 1am at DFW after issues with the plane and getting a rental car, but with time change got to hotel at 3 am. We arrived and were told we were a “no show” because we did not arrive before midnight. They had cancelled the already payed for night. There was no offer to allow us to stay the rest of the night at a different rate or offered any type of apology. The clerk said there was nothing he could do. We were exhausted but not having energy to find another hotel at 330 am ended up driving 3 hours home. Just terribly disappointed in the customer service of this hotel.
