I booked this hotel under the impression that it was an Embassy Suites, expecting a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, that was far from the reality.
The property is very old and poorly maintained. More importantly, the room was dirty and appeared to have bugs. I woke up with bites on my chin, and my child also had visible bites on his face. We are unsure whether the bites came from the bed or the couch where my child had rested, but either possibility is completely unacceptable.
When I brought this serious issue to the manager’s attention, I was met with little to no concern or empathy. Because I booked through a third-party site, I was told only one night would be accommodated even though I had already stayed two nights and had three remaining. There was no real effort to address the situation or ensure our safety and comfort.
I ultimately had no choice but to leave the property immediately. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and accommodated me, ensuring I did not incur additional fees. Expedias customer service was the only positive part of this experience.
I would not recommend this hotel to professionals, families, or anyone visiting Dallas. Cleanliness, safety, and basic customer care were severely lacking.
This stay caused unnecessary stress and discomfort for both me and my child.
