Welcome to our comfortable apartments, located right next to the beautiful North Sea beach and in the front row behind the dike! After a long day at the beach, which you’ll have spent relaxing in your own complimentary beach chair, you can wind down the evening in our on-site swimming pool with a hot tub and three different saunas.
Living Space:
Our two-room apartment, modernized in January 2021, features a balcony facing the sea (sea view partially obstructed by trees), a kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower and hair dryer. A spacious window front creates a bright and cozy atmosphere, while you can relax on a comfortable sofa set in the living area. The living area flows seamlessly into the dining area, which is furnished with a spacious dining table and comfortable chairs.
Sleeping arrangements:
The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people; upon request, it can also accommodate 4 people and 1 toddler. It features a separate bedroom with two single beds (sleeping area 200 cm x 90 cm) and a fold-out bed in the living area with two cold-foam mattresses for two people (sleeping area 160 cm x 200 cm). The separate bedroom is separated from the rest of the apartment by a frosted-glass sliding door. A high chair and a crib can be provided upon request.
Amenities:
Enjoy entertainment on the TV with all the major channels. A radio is also available. The apartment offers fast and free Wi-Fi access (up to 250 Mbit/s), ideal for working from home by the sea.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, egg cooker, microwave, pans, pots, and dishes. A dishwasher and a ceramic cooktop with 4 burners (no oven) are also provided. We provide a basic supply of essentials for you, including salt, pepper, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, cleaning rags, and dish towels, as well as one roll each of toilet paper and paper towels. In the cabinets in the living area, you’ll find a small selection of games and books.
Upon arrival, a luggage cart will be available to help you transport your luggage quickly and easily.
Swimming Pool & Sauna:
The bright and inviting swimming pool is available free of charge to all guests of the house. Next to the pool, which features a massage jet and an artificial waterfall, is a heated hot tub. In addition to the swimming pool, there is a sauna area with three different saunas (Finnish sauna (90°), bio-sauna (60°), and steam sauna (45°)) and a relaxation room.
Hours of operation*:
Monday through Sunday
7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (swimming pool)
3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (swimming pool & sauna)
On Fridays, the sauna area and the swimming pool are open until 10:00 p.m.
Please note the annual closure for general maintenance in January. During calendar weeks 2 through 4, our guests may use the swimming pool at the neighboring Lord Nelson. The Lord Nelson and Trafalgar apartment buildings are adjacent to each other, and the walk to the swimming pool from Lord Nelson is about the same distance. This allows you to enjoy swimming without any restrictions.
During the swimming pool’s closure period, noisy renovation work is frequently carried out due to low occupancy in the building. We have no control over the schedule or duration of these renovations.
Beach chair:
Included in the price is a beach chair near the Döse beach house (available from Easter through September 30). The standard daily rate for a beach chair is €11–15.

In addition to the aforementioned swimming pool with sauna area, the following facilities are available to you free of charge:

Due to the building’s age, the parking spaces are narrow for today’s cars. Please understand that this is beyond our control. Alternatively, you can use the public parking spaces around the complex.
Bedding and towels:
You may bring your own bedding and towels or book them on-site from Ms. Frerichs for a fee (linens package: 15€ per person).
