«Great stay in a very friendly country inn. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, the Guinness was great, the bed was really comfortable and I look forward to coming back. One note if you’re an American like me— don’t just ask Siri to get directions to the Dog & Partridge because apparently there’s a pub with that name in every village, lol. When I finally got to the right one, though, it was worth it!»

«Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay»

«First impression on arrival, front of house could do with some maintenance (weeding).
Suite 5*Tap in bathroom had soap marks and hair shavings.
Pillows were too hard and mattress was uncomfortable, could feel the springs with every movement we made.
Website said city view, but this wasn’t the case,(disappointed).
On a positive note, service was good overall.
Would stay there again if mattress was more comfy.»
