«It is a lovely property, reasonably priced with full service restaurant, bar and pool. My room was comfortable and large, staff was really nice, great service. Set on a river and you can experience the howler monkeys. Will come back as it is close enough to the airport for early departures or late arrivals. Can handle large groups but I came here solo, perfectly safe!»

«Howler Monkey was an interesting little place. Family run and in a fairly remote location so we saw enormous, 5 ft. orange iguanas along the river (take binoculars to see them better) and heard the howlers in the area. However, the place could use some work - cleaning, painting, general maintenance, etc. And it is not a 'resort' by most American's description. Our particular cabin was fine but also needed a little TLC. It was 2 doubles with a bathroom door that hit the one bed. And we had a ...

«This is a beautiful hidden treasure of a spot. The staff was fabulous and would definitely recommend BEVL to any bird watcher (new or experienced). «I am glad I was able to end my vacation at the gecko bungalow. Michelle made sure that everything was taken care of with the multiple shuttles to and from the airport. The bungalow was an oasis and I was very glad to get to experience it with my first trip to Belize. Michelle and Scott made it feel like another home away from home. «At only a few minutes from the airport this place is perfect to start or end your trip on the mainland if you plan to visit other areas and want the ease of travel. Once inside the complex, you truly feel as if you are in a resort- the grounds, the pool, the entire space is carefully thought out to inspire vacation vibes. Hosts are incredible as was Felipe who all ensured my friends and I had everything we needed! Highly recommend!»
