Everything has been well thought out and all the cottages offer king-size beds that are just made for a great night’s sleep. Dating back to at least the 1800s, the traditional Norfolk Fisherman’s cottages, Rectory Cottage and Beach Retreat both sleep four and are next door to each other. These two properties offer small off-road parking areas, something of a rarity this close to the beach. Also built in the 1800s and just a little further along the lies Gardener’s Cottage, which sleeps six and has a kingsize bedroom on the ground floor with an ensuite shower room, making this a two-bathroom property that’s perfect for three generations travelling together.

The location couldn’t be better either as you are footsteps from the wide sandy stretch of Overstrand beach and have places to eat on foot too. Make sure you take the time to visit nearby Cromer with its famous pier and head to the Norfolk Broads and hire a day launch or join a tour.
