«We loved our stay at this VBRO. We stayed during the Labor Day Weekend. The house was super clean and the grounds were well maintained. The cottage is not far from Chincoteague (45 min) so we stopped on our way down and back home - visit Captain Barry. We ate dinners at Mallards (music on Friday Nights only 10 minutes away) and the Island House Restaurant in Wachapreague (25 minutes away). We liked both, but the Corner Bakery was awesome. «We came here with my 3 grandsons to watch the NASA launch. There were 7 of us total. We had a hard time finding the place because the address numbers were painted the same color as the rail they were attached to. The house looked a little run-down from the outside, but the inside was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The boys loved the backyard and the waterfront. We were disappointed at the number of things that were broken or not provided (although they were mentioned on the amenities list).
