«Really well equipped house with beautiful surroundings. After clear instructions of how to arrive and check in we felt warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and some chocolates from Oban. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, but the house was also a great place to use as a base to explore wider, from a trip to Oban (picking up more chocolates!) to a walk up Ben Cruachan. We’d love to stay again and continue to explore. Huge thanks to Fiona and Andy for being such great hosts!!»

«We had a great time at this fabulous cottage. Perfectly situated near, but not in, the centre of Comrie and ideally a 1 minute walk to the best restaurant The Deil’s Kitchen. Beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped with every extra you could possibly need. Comfortable, warm, plenty of room and a really great kitchen. Even Storm Babet didn’t spoil our break though it did mean we didn’t use the lovely garden and seating area. The dog however loved it and as it is enclosed, was safe. Would ...

«We had a great time staying here and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The pictures do not do this place justice, the views are amazing and the house is cozy and has a warm and loving feeling. We stayed here for six days and our only regret is not staying longer. David is also a great host who answered our questions immediately and we felt well taken care of both before and during our stay. We will definitely want to come back at some point!»

«We spent a lovely weekend at Hollybank & can’t fault it at all. Enough space to either spend time in small groups or be together as a group of 8. Very well-equipped kitchen & loved the option for either casual dining in the open-plan lounge or the more formal dining room. Would happily return at any time.»

«The stay was amazing. It was peaceful with beautiful views and plenty of space. Our host Wallace was super nice and made sure the house had everything we would need. The location was right next to a wildlife park so that was a nice bonus! The outside had a nice seating area and hot tub to enjoy the beautiful views and the upstairs had these really cool windows that opened like doors so you could take in the views while inside as well. «Cottage is amazing and Annie was so accommodating! The arrival to an overwhelming basket was such a pleasant surprise! The cottage is very rural so plan accordingly. We enjoyed some relaxing home cooked meals and a great visit to the butcher for supplies. Definitely a place to go»

«Accommodation was the perfect balance of cosy and modern. It was immaculately presented and very well equipped. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, including a gift of homemade shortbread and some locally made whisky. Tilly, the dog, dropped in to hello too and visited us daily and was absolutely no trouble at all. The accommodation is in an ideal location which made days away very easy and accessible. I would definitely wish to stay again and would highly recommend this holiday home.»

«Our cottage served as the perfect base for exploration, from Arran to Glencoe. It was easy to find, and convenient to main routes. It offered a great view of Loch Fyne, and plenty of easy walking around the area. It was helpful to have a clothes washer, and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. Highly recommended.»

«Great family accommodation. 7 bedrooms meant that we could all stay under one roof. 6 month old to 63 year olds catered for. Excellent kitchen and everything you need. Hot tub was a bonus. Loved it.»

«The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Having the sauna was fantastic especially after a long day out. There is a lot do do around the area but do expect to drive here and there. «Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.»

«This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.»
